MALOLOS CITY, Bulacan — A hairstylist has filed a complaint against an Egyptian national over an alleged physical assault inside a hair salon in Malolos City, Bulacan, an incident that was partially captured on closed-circuit television.

According to the initial investigation, the incident occurred while the foreign national was inside the salon with his wife. CCTV footage shows the Egyptian national approaching the hairstylist and suddenly grabbing him. While restraining the victim, the suspect was seen pinching the hairstylist’s face. The foreign national then returned to his seat, but the confrontation did not end there.

Moments later, the suspect stood up again and aggressively went back to the hairstylist. This time, he allegedly grabbed the victim by the head and slapped him on the right cheek. The hairstylist appeared shocked by the sudden outburst, while other people inside the salon were seen reacting to the incident.

Based on the police investigation, the Egyptian national reportedly became angry because he wanted the hairstylist to speak directly with him regarding the haircut intended for his wife. Authorities said the misunderstanding escalated quickly, leading to the alleged assault.

The victim has expressed his firm decision to pursue legal action against the foreign national. He has already filed a formal complaint and is cooperating with investigators as the case develops.

As of this report, authorities are still attempting to obtain the side of the Egyptian national. Police said they are coordinating efforts to gather his statement and complete the investigation.

Local officials emphasized that acts of violence will not be tolerated, regardless of nationality, and reminded the public that disputes should always be resolved through proper communication.
